Student protests are gradually spreading across the country. In Bihar's capital, Patna, thousands of students took to the streets on Wednesday to protest against paper leaks, irregularities in the examination system, and police action against students at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. The protest march, which began from Gandhi Maidan, quickly turned into a large demonstration.

Under the banners of various student organisations, the protesters had announced a march to Raj Bhavan, demanding reforms in the education system, transparency in the examination process, and issues related to student interests. The march started from Gandhi Maidan at around 10:30 a.m., but at about 11 a.m., the police blocked the students' path with barricades at JP Golambar.

During attempts to remove the barricades, a heated clash occurred between the police and the protesters. Subsequently, the police resorted to a lathi charge and used water cannons to control the crowd. Despite this, a large number of students managed to cross the barricades and reached Dak Bungalow Chauraha.

The protest intensified at Dak Bungalow Chauraha. According to local media reports, over seven thousand students gathered there, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. During this time, the vehicle of BJP MLA Binay Bihari was vandalised, and an incident of assault on a leader associated with the BJP was also reported.
