RSS constitution silent on Akhand Bharat maps

The RSS constitution does not mention the establishment of Akhand Bharat.

What is not happening in the name of Akhand Bharat? Posters and calendars are being printed, or boards are being put up on the roads. Who wants Akhand Bharat? RSS. However, the constitution handed over to Sardar Patel makes no mention of the so-called Akhand Bharat. Article 3 states that,

The objective and goal of the Sangh is to unite the diverse groups within Hindu society and to revive and rejuvenate it based on its religion and culture, so that it can achieve comprehensive development of Bharat.

Here too, Bharat is not mentioned, which is the official or constitutional name of the country, but Bharatvarsh is written, and there is no mention of Akhand Bharat anywhere in it.

Article 4 of the RSS constitution also does not mention anything about Akhand Bharat. It outlines the Sangh's policy in three sub-clauses. This means that the declared objective of the Sangh is not to establish Akhand Bharat.

Yet, Akhand Bharat has become the objective of RSS. Suruchi Prakashan, a publishing house run by RSS in Delhi, presented a map titled 'Punyabhumi Bharat' which referred to Afghanistan as "Upgansthan", Kabul as "Kubha Nagar", Peshawar as "Purushpur", Multan as "Moolsthan", Tibet as "Trivishtap", Sri Lanka as "Singhaldeep", and Myanmar as "Brahmadesh". There were more names as well. A caption in Sanskrit at the bottom of that map stated, “Everything that lies south of the Himalayas and north of the Indian Ocean is Bharat.”

There are several other publications of RSS, including a book titled ‘Dream of Every Patriot: Akhand Bharat. This book discusses the establishment of Akhand Bharat. Now, anyone who does not dream of Akhand Bharat has become a traitor!

The current Sarsanghchalak of the Sangh, Mohan Bhagwat, repeatedly states that only Akhand Bharat will bring true freedom to the people of Bharat. Indian Express mentioned this in its February 2007 newspaper. Narendra Modi also made similar statements in 2012. Later, BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav reiterated this in 2015 in an article in Indian Express. However, no one mentions which countries will be included in Akhand Bharat apart from present-day Bharat.

Now see what is happening. An article by Felix Paul and Alexander Davis has been published in a magazine called 'Science Direct'. It states that

36 maps depicting different regions of Akhand Bharat have been published, and their publishers are somehow linked to RSS or similar Hindu right-wing organizations.

Only Pakistan or Bangladesh are not included in their Akhand Bharat. Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Indonesia are included.

Some maps of Akhand Bharat even include Iran, Egypt, and northern Australia. Germany is also included. One map even includes Siberia! There is a person from RSS, Indresh Kumar. He is currently working as the chief guide of the RSS Muslim National Forum. He stated in 2019 that by 2025, a situation would arise where Hindus in India would be able to buy land in Lahore, Pakistan, and Kailash and Dhaka would be included in Bharat. Nothing has happened; it is now 2026.

Many may not remember that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee sent our army to the border in the name of a decisive battle with Pakistan, but nothing happened afterward. Crores of rupees were spent, and the army was called back from the border because the United States did not want war. Then during Narendra Modi's time, Operation Sindoor happened and was over in three days.

However, a pro-government media channel claimed on TV that India had already won Lahore. Akhand Bharat is like the dreams of Mungerilal, a huge deception. It is a drug of maps. There are 36 maps of it; take whichever you want, the shop of Hindu Rashtra is open. Then stick it on the wall of your house and keep chanting Jai Shri Ram.
